SOME GUIDELINES

​

1. Drawings only. Sketches, doodles, marks. Any art based in drawing. 

2. Can be made with pencil, pen, marker, brush, hair, bark, coal, etc. Again, based in drawing.

3. Must be sent in a digital format that is fit to post. No pixilated or out of focus drawings will be considered.

4. Keep in mind the Instagram feed and stories formats when submitting. We don’t like to crop.

5. Include any feeds and/or links you would like to share. All posted drawings will include the artist’s IG account name and/or website.

6. Please include your name and location with your drawing(s).

7. There is no limit to the amount of drawings you may submit, or the amount of times you are featured as the Diurnalist Drawer.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR DRAWINGS

Send toy our submissions for consideration. Submissions will only be accepted via DM at the @diurnaldrawings Instagram feed, or by email HERE. We post one drawing a day, every day.

WHOSE FAULT IS THIS? 

​

Please keep in mind, though we love you all, and appreciate your interest in DD, not every drawing was published. That would would have impossible.

The Diurnal Drawings were curated by these three, MARK PENXA, DON PENDLETON, and ANDY JENKINS. If the three of them could not agree on a pick, final determination was to be made by fistfight, live somewhere on the interwebs. Thankfully, that situation never came up and the 3 of them remain fast friends.

Drawer with the most likes at the end of the month (tallied from both @diurnaldrawings and @bendpressmachine), is inducted into the Drawing Of The Month Club and will receive a $10 gift certificate at the Bend Shop.
