To: Andy Jenkins <andyjenk@bendpress.com> Hello Andy, It's hot humid and smoggy in olde T.O. these days. not only are the garbage men on strike, almost all civic workers are on strike as well and there's no sight of a settlement. So our streets are clogged with rotting black masses. Illegal dumps are popping up all over the place. There's a dump across the street from me. And to top it all off the Pope is coming in two weeks. It's really all very sad. My days have been rather full here. After I returned from Cali (I had a great time ran into Bob K. and Lori D. in SF as well as a crew from Vancouver. The show went well.) I hit the ground running. I'm working on a bunch of stuff for Momentum and having a blast. I'm doing everything on illustrator 8.0 for the first time. The down fall of all this computer time is that I haven't painted in over two months. I'm hoping to get back to it next week if everything goes smoothly. I didn't realize all this computer stuff would turn me into a hermit. My days have been filled with cathode rays and public radio. There are only so many drawing hours in the day. Last night my girlfriend kicked my ass in scrabble. I was rolling, up by 60 points and in the end i lost by 15 points. I couldn't win even by cheating. Sad, very sad. I haven't won a game in all the time we've been dating. Damn my luck. Fight! a. |
