Joe Sorren and Eric White have created "Pink Bits and the Glory of Autumn : The Sissy Art of Eric White and Joe Sorren." It will run at La Luz De Jesus gallery from Sept 7th thru the 30th with the opening reception on the 7th from 7 to 11pm. Worth visiting... both create powerful images and they've even collaborated on at least one... >> Go see Ghost World. >> Galaxia Records out of Santa Cruz is putting on a tribute show for the late Margaret Kilgallen. Deadlines stepping on our necks. >> Andy Mueller's maze contest on ohiogirl.com has finally ended and been judged. Andy's plan is to print the 3 winnners (Bend friend Lori D. is one of them) on a limited set of Quiet Life tees. You must check the Maze gallery. Very insightful interpretations. >> Just a reminder : Mike Daily's highly original novel, Valley, on Bend Press, is still in print. We really are the smallest book company... >> The Milk 4 song EP will be available on the Consumption Machine soon. Bend is now a record label too. MTV pulled the plug on the Jackass soundtrack because of the lyrics in Milk's "Knife Song"... or, at least, the lyrics contributed to the CDs demise. But it may have been the poor recording quality and the unwillingness of the band members to re-record it that put an end to the product. Anyhow, the show is history too, so fuck it.
