>> Frustration :

So, you've noticed. We've been off-line for a while. You can thank our ultra-pro ISP for that. Thank you Tri-Star, you rule. As a result of this unfortunate circumstance, we're not making any more updates or changes until we switch over to a new ISP. So long Tri-Star—we leave you with the Big Finger. We'll be back in a week or so, thanks for your patience, good people.

Subject: I don't know you either.
To: andyjenk@girlskateboards.com
I just got your e-mailer. Followed along & read something from McGoo. It reminded me of a shower (shitter) thought I had the other day. I was wondering why I so often treat my acquaintances like friends, and so easily treat my friends like acquaintances?

I have no idea where these go. —Dan Hardie, Miami, Florida

>> Bendpress.com Quote of the Month :

"I don't know it just seems that the songs on the radio were written for some one else and the movies are made for some one else and television shows are from some other planet. At 28 I don't consider myself old, but I am still chasing this Peter Pan skateboarding dream around, and I am not quite sure where to put myself in all of this." —Tom Dupere.

From Response Episode #8, now up.

Jenk,
I found this photo of God on the ground in the parking lot of a place that sells camping equipment.

>> Copies of Mike Daily's first anthology, Stoverpiper, Book One (1995 release : designed by Joe Polevy) are now for sale on the Bend Consumption Machine. This trade paperback has the likes of Charles Bukowski, Steve Richmond, Hugh Gallagher (before his novel, Teeth) and more. There are also a few Jenkins paintings scattered within. Daily has been in the planning stages of Book Two for some time now. Email him and ask what's up—or just send money... that may just be the hold up. Ahhh, the life of a small press...
